Hasee Toh PhaseeHi guys, recently the Hasee Toh Phasee released and I watched it today, well I don’t like it that much but I thought this is kind of a trending topic right now on the internet. So here I am writing a review on Hasee Toh Phasee. One thing I wanna say this the best thing I like about this movie is Parineeti Chopra’s acting.

Hasee Toh Phasee – Review

Hasee Toh PhaseeNikhil (Sidharth Malhotra) is a struggling businessman whose girlfriend Karishma (Adah Sharma) is an actress. Nikhil is a guy who believes once you are committed to a girl, there should be no straying. He is the guy every girl would love to have. Karishma asks Nikhil to arrange INR 5 crores before marriage, which is 7 days later to earn a contract. In the mean time, Nikhil meets Meeta (Parineeti Chopra), Karishma’s younger sister, with whom he had a brief encounter 7 years ago. Meeta, who is an IITian in chemical engineering, is super intelligent geek, who ran away 7 years ago to China after stealing money from her own father, leading to his heart attack.

Hasee Toh Phasee , that got great responses especially from the youths, made a decent box office collection on 1st Monday as well. The film collected approx 2.85 crores nett yesterday, which takes its domestic total to 19.60 crores at the Box Office. The film acquired major success in multiplexes, mainly in metros Mumbai and Delhi.

Hasee Toh PhaseeSpeaking of the chemistry between Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, Karan Johar says, “The term ‘chemistry between the lead actors’ is used very often. But I think it worked tremendously in the case of Sid and Pari. They are so good together that almost everyone in the theatre is rooting for them. The true test of a chemistry having worked is measured when the audience roots for a lead pair. Of course what is really and truly gratifying is the fact that over the weekend, we (Phantom Films and I) noticed how HTP has earned love and made money. What more can I ask for?”

This romantic comedy mirrors the quirks in human nature subtly and provides humour in everyday situations; in the family and amongst friends. Parineeti’s relationship with her father(Manoj Joshi, in fine form) strikes the right emotional chord.

The songs–Shake It like Shammi and the Punjabi Wedding Song add zing to an otherwise simple narrative. Parineeti who has come to represent the power-house performer passes with flying colours. And, Sidharth, whose good-looks distract, shows a definitive growth in his second outing as an actor after Student of the Year.

If you are looking for something romantic this valentine then give Hasee Toh Phasee A shot.

That’s all from my side on hasee toh phasee Review.
